As a consulting firm that specializes in professional services and application development, we have experienced a growing need by our clients to develop tools to author, manage and publish content. We began integrating authoring solutions to compete with more popular out-of-box applications and felt a positive response from our clients due to the customizable nature of our products and services.

Authoring can mean several things, but it is often confused for creating documents, writing technical content, or something as simple as filling out a form. The role of authoring or ownership of the content can span across numerous departments within a company, not to mention across different countries - in different languages. One day we asked ourselves, why not create a centralized hub where all end-users can author content with the appropriate workflow and all from the convenience of one application. We have avoided the common pitfalls that undermine other authoring applications to create a fully customizable authoring environment with search and storage capabilities. The increase in XML has led to a demand to create software that can manipulate XML and use it in virtually any form desired. We have given the tools to create back to the end-user and content managers.
